Even though it’s quite delicious, we recommend eating 1 normal meal apart from Thoop daily to keep yourself sane. The portion described in this recipe can last for 11 meals.

Ingredients
- 824g Bell pepper
- 600g Onions
- 512g Celery
- 680g Tomato
- 103g Garlique
- 1229g Zucchini
- 216g Bella Mushroom
- 454g Carrot
- 1000 ml Chicken broth
- 907g Corn
- 10g Olive oil
- 1150g Chicken breast
- Ginger paste
- Spices (Chilli, Turmeric, Garam Masala, Coriander, Cloves, Cardamom)
- Kasuri methi
- Garlic salt
- Onion powder
- A box of spinach (how big? You decide)
Procedure
Prep
- Make fresh garlic paste with the garlic.
- Spice Mix: Put all your spices in a bowl lmao
- Chop all your vegetables.
Chicken
- Do NOT cut your chicken yet.
- Pour chicken broth into a large pot over medium heat.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic salt, and onion powder to the broth.
- After a few minutes, throw half your chopped mushrooms into the broth.
- Chuck the chicken pieces in next.
- Let this simmer for ~10 minutes. Check if the meat is close to cooked.
- If it is, then turn off the heat and scoop out all the chicken.
Tomato-spice paste
- Blend your tomatoes. Also, throw in a few hundred grams of bell peppers for funsies.
- Heat half the oil in a large pan/tawa/wok. Add half the garlic & equal amounts of ginger paste, along with 3-4 cardamom pods and 3-4 clove sticks.
- After 15 seconds of stirring, add half your onions onions (optional: add spinach after a few minutes).
- Stir the onions until they become golden-brown in colour.
- Throw in your spices, and immediately pour the blended tomato into the large pan/tawa/wok.
- Mix and let it simmer until the tomato thickens. You’ll know it’s ready when you can see the bottom of the pan with your spatula while mixing.
- Add the 2 tsp of kasuri methi and mix it in.
- Use an immersion blender to blend onion pieces and place the paste aside while the soup gets ready.
Soup
- Add all your remaining vegetables (except carrots, corn, mushrooms, and onions) into the broth and immersion blend.
- Make sure you completely obliterate the vegetables. Spend some time ensuring you get a good consistency. This step will make or break your Thoop.
- Turn on the heat again. Add the carrots, corn, mushrooms, and onions and cook until the mushrooms are cooked.
Putting it all together
- Chop chicken into 1×1 inch cubes and toss ’em back in the Thoop.
- Add your tomato-spice paste and mix.
- Let the Thoop simmer for a few minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Add more salt/pepper if needed.

- Corn adds a lot of calories. Remove if you feel like it.
